10. The Frog, Gnat and Fly Plagues (Exodus 8: 1 - 4)
When we talked about plagues, we would think of things like the black plague, influenza virus plague, E. coli plague, cholera plague, etc. the kind that could cause people to fear easily. However, when God sent plagues to the Egyptians, they were frogs, gnats, flies, etc. the kind that could only cause people to feel uncomfortable or disgusting. Nobody had died from them. Why was that? How would that cause Pharaoh to fear enough to let the Israelites go? What could we learn from God's intentions?
